What: You’ve been chosen to join a community of African innovators tackling one of the greatest challenges of our time: climate change. At Kinjani, we believe the solutions will come from here: from scientists pushing the frontiers of discovery, operators who understand supply chains, and people living with the realities of climate impact. The Greenhouse is your launchpad. A safe, structured space to explore “How might you design and validate a climate venture that measurably reduces emissions or climate vulnerability in your chosen area?”. Over the next 6 weeks, we’ll learn by doing, reflect together, and grow in confidence as we test ideas bold enough to shift industries and transform communities.
Over 6 weeks, you’ll build the foundations of a climate founder:
- Spot Opportunities → See climate challenges as entrepreneurial opportunities.
- Understand Problems Deeply → Identify issues worth solving, grounded in community realities.
- Know Your Customer → Use interviews and active listening to uncover real needs.
- Prototype Fast → Test ideas quickly with simple and AI-powered tools.
- Frame Climate Impact → Explore your potential for gigaton-level impact.
- Grow in Community → Learn from peers, mentors, and alumni shaping climate ventures.
Prize money to be won.
The highest potential solutions that align with Kinjani’s thesis can potentially feed into Kinjani’s Lab, in 2026.
Where: Fully online: one live session per week + optional online check-ins + office hours + self paced course work (approx. 4-5 hours per week)
When: Starts 8 October 2025 and ends 19 November 2025
